We found it totally different from what we had tasted so far.
His smoky touch is truly bestial.

Taste in the heart of Guimaraes, the city that once was the capital of Portugal, we were lucky enough to try this great craft beer:
Red Mosquito.
With the curiosity of being a Portuguese artisan beer that is made in a factory of Leon Red Mosquito is a great beer.
With an image and an attractive name like few, Red Mosquito is made by OPO 74 Brewing with a touch of grapefruit.
It is in this way a beer different from everything we have tried so far.
Toasted and with floral and citrus aromas, Red Mosquito is a premium beer, with a price that is around 3-3.5 euros, but certainly its taste is worth it.
With the first drink you realize that you are facing a different beer, different from everything tested so far.
The touch of grapefruit and toast makes the difference, a difference that we liked.
Red Mosquito in Guimaraes
With a delicious foam and a high alcohol content (7.5%) perfectly integrated in beer, with body and character.
If you find it ... you have to try it, it's worth it.
We found it lovely.
Of the best craft beers we have tasted this Red Mosquito.
Recommended, without a doubt.

Budejovicky Budvar Dark Czech Dark Lager, today we try a powerful and flavorful black Czech beer

Budejovicky Budvar Dark Czech Dark Lager

From Czech Republic we try a black beer with excellent body and flavor: Budejovicky Budvar Dark

Name: Budejovicky Budvar B: Dark
Manufacturer: Budejovicky Budvar
Origin: Czech Republic
Graduation: 4.7%
Price: € 1.50 approx
Package: Bottle 33 Cl
Type of beer: Black Lager
Ideal consumption temperature: 5ºC
Value for money: Very Good

Beer tasting review Budejovicky Budvar Czech Dark Lager:
Again it has been at one of the tables where the hypermarket of El Corte Ingles unveils new products from other countries.
On this occasion, at the stand of the Czech Republic I came across this black beer that was in an excellent offer (second unit 70% less).
The original price of this beer is around 1.50 euros per bottle of 33 cl, and with the offer the price approached one euro per unit ... and we prepared to taste it after cooling ...
These are the conclusions we draw from our Budejovicky Budvar Dark Lager beer tasting.
Darkness is the predominant thing in this beer, in this case it is rightly called black beer. An abundant layer of foam beis encourages its decanted ...
On the nose, aromas of roasted coffee and bitter chocolate stand out.
But it is in the mouth where this beer stands out, it enters potent and tasty, very dense, very black, but this does not detract an ape to its freshness.
Its start impresses ... a deep bitterness ... the second swallow and improvement ... the third falls in love.
Budejovicky Budvar Czech Dark Lager
Proper carbon, very integrated with beer and helps to expel this world of aromas that brings us this beer.
Personally I have fallen in love, despite its faltering start, its final deserves prize ...
Recommended without a doubt.
I loved it.

Sagres Preta, we tried the typical Portuguese black beer.

Portuguese beer. Sagres Preta

Sagres Preta a black beer made in Portugal with 100% natural ingredients

Name: Sagres Preta
Manufacturer: Sagres
Origin: Portugal
Graduation: 4.1%
Price: 0.6 € - 0.80 €
Package: Bottle 33 Cl
Type of beer: Munich. Black beer
Ideal consumption temperature: 5ºC
Value for money: Good

Opinion of beer tasting Sagres Preta:
We tried this beer on one of our frequent visits to Portugal.
In this case in the area of Vizela in the typical village bar where Sagres and Superbock maintain a tough confrontation to see which is the brand that obtains supremacy in Portugal. (Remember that between both they have 90% of the beer market in Portugal).
Made with 100% natural ingredients (Water, Barley, Maize and Hops) we are faced with a beer with a medium body, a very dark color and a nice caramel flavor.
Sagres icon
Thick and dense, like all good black beer.
Sagres preta beer
We missed a little more power and body, which would give a more round result to the whole.
In supermarket the price of a Sagres Preta round 0.60-0.70 euros per package which makes a very good value for money.
As for its taste, it is correct for a conventional beer and for the price at which we are buying it.
It is a low range of an acceptable quality, although we have black beers that we like more.
You still have to try it.
On a terrace in Portugal, enjoying a few days of vacation, has known us to glory.

A greeting
To know all the beers we tried.
